Current & Upcoming Class DescriptionsThe Beg. Tap class will cover the basics of tap dancing and teach a small routine. Many people have asked us to teach a tap class, so here it is. Although we approach tap as it relates to lindy hop and vernacular jazz steps, this class is open to anyone, regardless of dance background. Unfortunately, the floor at the Avalon isn’t engineered for tap shoes, so we will be dancing soft shoe. If you have questions about footwear, please feel free to ask us for advice.
